No. Every plan works on its own. Nothing is ticked for you, every add-on shows its price before you choose it, and you can remove one later from your billing page.
No. There is no free tier, but every plan starts with a 14 day free trial that needs no card. Add one once the trial has started, or later from your billing page. Nothing is charged before the trial ends.
If you've added a card, your plan starts and the first payment is taken then, for the plan, seats and add-ons you chose. If you haven't, nothing is charged and the workspace pauses. Add a card later and it opens again.
You don't need a separate one. There is no seat minimum, so a team of one is a single seat on Core or Pro, at the same per-seat price as everyone else. Add seats if other people join later.
Monthly carries a markup rather than yearly carrying a discount. The difference is shown in money beside the billing switch, worked out from the price list itself, so it cannot drift away from what you actually pay.
Seat bands take a set share off every seat as your team grows, applied for you, with no negotiation and no minimum commitment. The bands, and the one your team falls in, are shown under the seat control.
You can buy more, for example a Photon boost of 2,500 a month. Each plan includes Photon Tokens per user, pooled across the workspace, with a minimum: 1,000 on Core, 3,000 on Pro and 10,000 on Enterprise. Allowances reset each month, and unused Photon Tokens do not carry over.
Yes, from your billing page. Moving up or adding applies straight away, and you pay the difference for the time left. Moving down or removing waits for your renewal. During the trial, changes cost nothing.
No. Each currency is its own published list price rather than an exchange-rate conversion of the others, so the figure you see is the figure in your currency.
